Elective Care and Waiting List Recovery

Additional capacity for elective recovery and sustainable pathway improvement.

MDCG partners with NHS Trusts and independent healthcare organisations to address elective backlog pressures, improve RTT performance and create meaningful additional capacity across outpatient, diagnostic and treatment pathways. As a CQC-registered provider, every service we deliver operates within a robust governance framework — ensuring safe, high-quality care for every patient we see.

What we provide

Outpatient Services

Our outpatient teams provide new and follow-up appointments, one-stop clinics, virtual and phone consultations, advice, remote reviews, treatment planning, consent, follow-up, discharge, and PIFU, all within your facilities and aligned with your standards.

Waiting List Validation and Clinical Triage

Before activity begins, we verify your waiting list by reviewing referral info, prioritising and risk-assessing patients, removing duplicates or unsuitable referrals, identifying direct-to-test options, and converting suitable patients to remote review or PIFU pathways.

Cancer Pathway Support

We offer comprehensive support for suspected cancer referrals and two-week-wait pathways, including Faster Diagnosis Standard, clinical triage, assessment, diagnostics, results review, MDT input, treatment planning, and referrals. Our teams are experienced in meeting cancer pathway timelines and escalation needs.
