We operate within a robust, CQC-registered clinical governance framework.

The Medical and Diagnostic Care Group is a CQC-registered clinical services provider. Every clinical service we design, mobilise and deliver is built around a governance framework that covers patient safety, clinical leadership, workforce assurance, information governance, incident management and performance reporting.

Our Clinical Leadership Team

Clinical governance at MDCG is led by a named clinical leadership team, directly accountable for the safety and quality of every service we deliver. Our clinical leads set standards, review performance and maintain the clinical governance frameworks underpinning our services.

Every clinician deployed by MDCG, whether a consultant, specialist nurse, allied health professional or support worker, undergoes a rigorous pre-engagement compliance process before undertaking any clinical activity. This process is maintained and monitored throughout each programme.

Patient Safety

Patient safety is embedded in every process we design and every service we deliver. Our safety framework spans the entire clinical pathway, from referral through to discharge, follow-up and escalation.

Performance Reporting

MDCG provides clients with regular, structured performance data throughout every programme. Reporting is agreed at programme outset and tailored to the client’s internal governance and board reporting requirements. Standard reporting includes:

Utilisation report
Clinical outcomes and onward pathway data
